Is it a buyer's or seller's market in Calgary?

It depends on the type of home. Calgary had 6,173 homes for sale in October and 3.88 months of supply, meaning today's inventory would take about four months to sell at the current pace. CREB® described detached and semi-detached homes as relatively balanced, with supply of 3.34 and 3.16 months. Row homes and apartments had 4.44 and 5.28 months, which CREB® said tend to favour the buyer.

Some communities can be much tighter than the city average. In Lake Bonavista, the latest community report we have is for September, when only 19 homes were for sale, about 1.7 months of supply.
